This virtual 1-2-1 meeting platform is a quick and easy way to book meetings with overseas Food and Drink buyers and the Department for International Trade Commercial Officers overseas.
Below is an easy guide on the process of registering for this event.
1) Registration
- Register via the green "Register now" button
2) Create a company profile
Your profile should describe who you are, and what the company does.
3) Select the days and timeslots you are available
Meetings will be available from 09h00 - 17h00 from Wednesday 24th March 2021
4) Wait for your registration to be approved
5) Add your product/service details
You will receive email confirmation that your profile has been approved.
At this point you can log in and add more information on the marketplace about your products/services, add brochures, images and web links.
6) Book meeting requests
View participants and send meeting requests to relevant Buyers and Advisors you are interested in exporting your products to. Ensure to add why you are interested in a meeting.
The Buyers(s) and Advisor(s) will accept the meeting request (if applicable), which will be scheduled automatically based on the availability you selected upon registering.
Booking rules
- Midlands companies can only book meetings with Buyers, Advisors and vice versa
- Incoming meeting requests have to be accepted to be scheduled
- You can book 6 meetings across the duration of the event
7) Your 1-2-1 schedule
- Shortly before the event you will receive your meeting schedule by email.
